More or less random reflections on vegetable growing, cheese-making, beer and wine brewing, carpentry, cooking, cycling; occasionally linked in more or less irrelevant ways to my professional interests in international and community development finance and the environment.
These interests arise from my childhood and youth in Africa, my travels since, and my various careers as a banker, consultant, entrepreneur, corporate strategist, campaigner and one-time chef patron of the most northwesterly hotel in Europe.
